HBI Malta Competes at CPS in Rome

HBI Malta travelled to Rome to compete at the CPS Champions Paintball Series “Living the Dream” event on 20 and 21 April 2024.

The tournament gave the squad another opportunity to compete overseas and test itself against experienced international opposition.

A demanding weekend

Following the event, Chris Cioffi described facing strong teams, many of them professional or semi-professional. For HBI Malta, that opposition provided a demanding test and an opportunity to learn from players competing at a higher level.

Reflecting on the weekend, Cioffi said the team was pleased with its improvement while recognising there was still plenty of room to develop.

His message captured the squad’s motivation: continue improving and keep the Maltese flag present at tournaments across Europe.

Building experience abroad

Taking a team overseas requires commitment from the players and the people supporting them. HBI Malta’s participation in Rome added another international competition to the squad’s experience and gave its players more time on the field against challenging opponents.

The team returned with encouragement from its progress and a clearer sense of the work still ahead. Thank you to everyone who helped make the trip possible and supported HBI Malta throughout the weekend.
